In Palworld, your character’s health and the health of your Pals begin depleting when they’re starving, so it’s always wise to have a steady supply of food. While Berries are common, easy to find, and a great source of food to begin with, building a farm to use Wheat Seeds is better. You need to know how to get Wheat Seeds to thrive, and we’ve got all the information you need to make that goal much easier.

Where to find Wheat Seeds in Palworld

You can find Wheat Seeds in Palworld through the following methods:

  • Buy them from a merchant
  • Defeat wild Pals that drop Wheat Seeds
  • Collect them from a Wheat Plantation at your base

The easiest way to get Wheat Seeds in Palworld is by purchasing them from a Merchant. While this will require parting with some hard-earned Gold, Merchants have an endless supply of Wheat Seeds in Palworld.

Using the game’s fast travel system, you can quickly move from your base to Settlements where Merchants can be found. The closest Settlement to the starting area is at the Small Settlement fast travel point, which is west of the large skeleton in the sea and southwest of Rayne Tower. Talk to the Merchant there and you can buy Wheat Seeds for 100 Gold.

If you want to get Wheat Seeds without spending Gold, focus on defeating or capturing Pals that drop Wheat Seeds. Here’s all Pals in Palworld that drop Wheat Seeds:

DinossumGrass, Dragon

The best Pals to farm Wheat Seeds in the early game are Dinossum and Cinnamoth. Dinossums can be easily found in the starting area of the game and near the Rayne Tower Syndicate waypoint. They are usually around level 15, but as long as you’ve brought along a Fire Pal to take advantage of their Type weakness, they shouldn’t put up a strong fight.

For Cinnamoths, you’ll have to travel north of the Sealed Realm of the Frozen Wings waypoint. The entire area there is their habitat, so you should be able to easily find a few.

Wheat Seeds in Palworld are used to build and seed a Wheat Plantation, which will provide a steady supply of Wheat and additional seeds. Once built, add Pals to your base with Planting, Watering, and Gathering abilities to passively farm Wheat.

Wheat Plantation recipe

  • Three Wheat Seeds
  • 35 Wood
  • 35 Stone
Tip:

You’ll also gather additional Wheat Seeds from the Wheat Plantation, so you shouldn’t have to buy any more.

You can then use your Wheat at a Mill to create Flour, which is a required ingredient for the all-important Cake, a necessary item for anyone looking to breed Pals and collect their eggs. Additionally, Flour can be turned into Bread—a great source of food for you and your Pals.
